Basic Archery Instructor Training

Spring 2011 Course Information for June 4, 2011


The NADA Basic Instructor course (used to be NAA Level 1). The course is a full day in

length and costs $75. It includes all necessary Archery Instructor training and materials. The course will be held Saturday, June 4, 2011 Starting at 9:00 a.m.

The training course outline is administered by the National Alliance for the Development

of Archery (NADA) for both USA Archery (formerly NAA) and NFAA.

Course size is limited and registration deadline is Friday, May 21, 2011. Please PM me right away if you plan to attend so I know if a minimum class size will be achieved.

Instructor candidates will learn to operate a safe and educational Archery Range. An

Instructor manual is issued and teaching methods are practiced.

Instructor cards are only issued upon course completion and Certification is valid 3 yrs.


Course Requirements:

1) Attend the entire course,

2) Pass a written archery test with a score of 75% or better, and

3) Serve effectively as a student instructor during training.

Shooting skills are not required, but helpful. Archery equipment will be supplied by
