80 Round NRA Approved Championship on Saturday and the choice of Three 600 yard prone matches or CMP Games Matches on Sunday. Entry packet for the CMP Games Matches is at http://www.vsrpa.org/2012_CMP_MDAY_Packet.pdf

Only $10 / night to stay on base in the barracks.

If you haven't shot Bolton before it is a beautiful range that is in a fishbowl like depression in the mountains.
There are typically some very challenging winds for any highpower shooters learning pleasure.

You do have to jump thru some hoops to shoot there like being willing to wear safety glasses (bring your own) while shooting and in the pits and wear base provided kevlar helmets while in the pits. (Not joking)

You must Pre-Register asap for these matches.

A few of us from NFGA will be there.

    Who else plans on going?

Weather was great with some typical Bolton challenging wind/mirage at 600 both days.

Congradz to NFGA's Rich Skowronski for overall winner and Pete Viau as the 2012 Vermont State Champion.
Rich also won the Garand match and NFGA's David Lavoie won the Springfield match.

Matches were well run and results are even up promptly @ http://www.vsrpa.org/html/2012_match_results.html

Too bad such a lack of interest and low attendance on Saturday.

With those bullshit range rules F*** THEM!!! Looks like someone in Guard HQ is subversively working to shut down these matches, By creating a lack of interest.
