East Providence issue
Hi all,
new to the forum. Was wondering if anyone has had an experience with the East Providence police chief regarding ccw issueing.
I applied for a C and R license, thinking I could use that as an excuse, but haven't applied for the ccw permit yet.

East Providence can be tough. You should check out www.cralri.com for info about RI permits and help with your reason statement.
You can apply to either the police chief of any city or town in Rhode Island or to the Attorney General's office.

I went on their website and read about quite a few who have been tortured by the East Providence Chief. Looks dismal right now.......

hi Tim,
If you can articulate a good reason (generally work purposes) you may want to consider going through the AG for your permit.
