We will have moon clips for the 940 late September 2011.
Prototypes of those will be in early September 2011. Link at the bottom of the page.
We're looking for anyone interested in testing the prototype run of the moon clips for the S&W Model 940.

Seems like a good excuse to buy a 940.

Do you have any plans to offer 6-shot K or L frame moon clips? I'm contemplating getting a longer barrel 6-shot for ICORE and getting it cut for clips. I could shoot the same gun in classic and limited. Cost and availability of clips are one of the things preventing me from doing so.

If you talking about a 586/686 then you'll have to have the cylinder cut for moon clips.
And then you have to select your brass. The relief cut below the rim on the brass is not standard.
Winchester is just too small a rim; the moon clips would have to be so thin they would bend.
We went through this on the 8 shot 627 and ended up with two thicknesses of clips. 0.020 and 0.025. The latter is more popular but both sell.

It seems that the best we can do for pricing is a $2 to $3 in 10 to 50 quantity of pricing. I'm not sure that price is helping out any of our customers.
