These just annoy the crap out of me...
I drive by several of these signs every day on the way to work, and they annoy me.
It's NOT paid for by the "American Recovery and Reinvestment Act." The act simply allocates YOUR MONEY to pay for it. So... if we must put up signs (at a cost of ~$2000 each so that you'll feel better about confiscatory taxes) I propose some truth in advertising:
"I cannot undertake to lay my finger on that article of the Constitution which granted a right to Congress of expending, on objects of benevolence, the money of their constituents...."

They piss me off.

Up until a month of two ago, there was one near my house in Taunton. "Paid for by the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act", right in front of a huge crater. I wish I had taken a picture, it was definitely very symbolic of how I view this administration.

but what about the jobs these projects save?! since the new buzzword is "created or saved".

just another reminder of how they are spending away our and our childrens' futures. hell, i'm not even anywhere near the age when i'd want kids and i know their futures have already been sold.
