I lost my 21 year old brother not too long ago, so I know how it feels!

Once you lose a loved one, you always know how it feels. Those feelings can be called up in an instant with just a thought or seeing something that reminds you of what they loved, experienced, had, or did with you. Some die young and some die old. But, like taxes you can't avoid death.

I have a list of people that have died, including loved ones and close friends, that I pray for. It helps me realize that they are watching over me and guiding me every day.

I buried an 18 year old brother when I was 17. And a three year old brother when I was 6. The feeling never changes. It never goes away. You just live with it.

I have lost two very close life long friends in the last 2 years. I think of them both every day and am learning to live it. I also have a brother in Afghanistan who I think of daily and wonder about. The emotions run wide and deep like to ocean.

I was 29 when my wife passed away. That was almost ten years ago. I still think about her every day.
