Default RI's Floods and the President

The One is too busy munching lobster in Boston to bother visiting the scene of the worst floods in 100 years. There's only one logical conclusion: Obama hates white people.

But the lobster is tasty, and he still needs to "sell" the health care law that is so good for this country.

You're expecting the President to go and visit common people? He's way to important for that. Can you imagine if one of them asked him a question and he didn't have his teleprompter ready with a response?

So would you say that Providence is on its way to being a vanilla city again?

Worst floods were in Cranston, Warwick and Coventry - not Providence.

Simple answer. Rhode Island isn't a swing state and I would imagine he would be able to raise more money in MA. Hence the visit to Framingham instead of Fall River. Which town has more $$?

No point in wasting his time in the Ocean State no matter how many houses are floating away or bridges are about to collapse.

The media would have crucified Bush if he did something like this.

Obama was busy, but we got Janet Napolitano to fly over us in a helicopter today. She called the flooding "impressive". Actually, seeing the Warwick Mall in the path of moving river was kind of impressive, but still, a little ham-handed to say it. I'm guessing if Warwick and Cranston were 90% black instead of 90% white, you'd see Obama handing out government cheese from a rowboat today!

He also visited Clinton, which has some severe flooding.
There were lots of sheep standing around the Marlboro airport last night, waiting to catch a glimpse of him. Either that or they were watching Marine One and it's shadow helo.
