Anyone autocross at Devens?
The season has started and this year I have secured 4 event dates that my club is hosting.
For those of you unfamiliar with autocross, its a huge course set up with cones on the old Moore Army Air Field runways. Its around 1.5 miles of sloloms, pivot cones, and gates.
Devens is the best spot in the NE. I have cars show up from MA, NY, NH, VT, CT, NJ, ME and RI for this.
This is a clip of my buddy Ralph kicking ass.

I just opened registration for the 5/2/10 event if anyone is interested.

That's badass.
Years ago (94 - 99) I autocrossed heavily with an E Stock VW GTi 16V in the SCCA Wichita Region. Even won class a few times.
I think I'm going to buy a Civic Si next year and will definitely 'cross it.

The great thing about Devens is that its HUGE. Its not some parking lot auto-x, and we usually get 9 runs in per day.
This is me at the end section

Looks like a great time. Is this open to race or watch?

To watch, you just need to sign the waiver at the gate. To run, you need to pre-register at the link. Any type of street legal vehicle is allowed, except for SUV's, non-sport trucks, vans, or anything else that would roll easily.

Autocrossing a lot of fun. It's a great way to race without spending huge amounts of money (which, of course you can if you want).
I've done a few at Devens but not in a number of years.

I've run with NESHOC/BSCC for the past few years. Excellent group of people, phenomenal courses, and some seriously fast cars. I was sad to see no NESHOC date's posted but am very happy to see that BSCC picked up the torch! See you on the tarmac...
PS...I will be there this Saturday with NE-SVT running my Evo

I used to run a 914 there a few years ago at the SCCA events, I need to do that again.
