Moving to Plymouth
So, my fiance and I went to look at an apartment on Saturday with move in plans for around the beginning of October, they showed us a 2 bedroom on the 1st floor that was much smaller than we need, there was no way we'd be able to fit our furniture in there, so we felt a little worried at that point since this was the complex we wanted to move into. (They require criminal background checks for new tenants and do not take public assistance.)
Then the apartment rep told us they also had another 2 bedroom, but a 3rd floor and a style we weren't interested in since from a previous visit we saw it had no room for a dining room table, but we agreed to look anyways since we really needed a place (we're getting married on Oct 17th).
Turned out that this one was slightly different from the other apartment we saw before, this one had the room for the table and was huge all throughout, large living room and master bedroom, plus a good sized second bedroom that we're going to turn into an office, only issue was that we had to move in within 2 weeks, we told them we'll sign the lease today if they can stretch that out one week, and they agreed.
So, on Sept 19th (2 weeks earlier than planned) I'll be moving to Spring Hill Gardens in Plymouth. (around the corner from M&M Plymouth Outfitters)
I can't wait, my fiance and I love it down there, we're getting an apartment so we can save for a down payment on a house a few years down the road. (yes, we're actually trying to do the responsible thing and have 20% on hand to put down.)
So, needless to say, based on this post, I'm really excited.

It's a good town with lots to do, welcome. I grew up on Newfield Street, which is a street that is next to where you are, adjacent to the Summer Street Courts. When and if you get ready to buy, let me know, I can help you get some grant money from the town. PM me for details.

Thanks guys!
I know that there's tons to do down there, we're there almost every weekend, I live in Pembroke right now and she lives in Bourne.
The area we're in is great, there's Kisskadee Coffee right there, T-Bones, and so many other great places to eat and shop.
We'll be looking to buy in roughly 3 years, we figure by then we can have a decent amount saved up for a down payment, but we'll definitely be looking to stay in the Plymouth area if we don't decide to go to NH.

Kisskadee and M&M's is a Sunday ritual for the most part. 2 or 3 times a month anyway.

By the way, you never realize how much you've acquired until you have to pack to move...
My supply of golf equipment is rather impressive...

Welcome!! Nothing I like better than a Sat. or Sun. morning, seeing all the liberal/hippie types sitting outside the coffee place sipping their lattes, with the M&M's sign advertising AKs/ARs/etc. right next to them.
