Tennis Umpire Killed Husband With Coffee Mug

A 70-year-old tennis umpire who was in New York City to referee U.S. Open tennis matches remained in custody in Manhattan Wednesday as she awaited extradition to California to face charges that she bludgeoned her 80-year-old husband to death with a coffee mug at their home in Woodland Hills earlier this year.

In light of this situation, the government, in their quick and efficient ways, will soon draft legislation severely limiting our coffee mug freedoms.

Early reports of upcoming restrictions include:

Licensing and finger printing of all coffee mug owners.
Mandated non-refundable application fee will be $150.
Any coffee mug over 10 fluid ounce capacity will be totally banned.
Mandatory locked storage of all coffee mugs when not in use.
Porcelain frangible and plastic coffee mugs will still be allowed, but full metal jacket coffee mugs will be banned and confiscated.
All mugs must be serial numbered and registered to their owners, and be available in a database for all LE agencies.
New mugs manufactured after this date must be serialized by the manufacturer, who will be licensed by the newly created governemt agency BATFECM.
Existing mugs will be grandfathered in for a period of 30 days after passage of this important legislation.
During this grace period, all unserialized mugs must be brought to special drop off centers to have gov issued CMIN's engraved upon them.
The application paperwork to register these mugs will also be available at these drop off centers.
Registration and gov administrative cost will be $25 per mug.
If you elect NOT to register your mugs, you will be required by law to drop them off for destruction at these centers.
There will be stiff legal penalties for anyone caught in possession of any unregistered coffee mugs after the 30 day grace period.
Safety locks must be installed whenever transporting.

Nah, it has to be under 10oz unless it's preban. And even then some coffee shops will only allow you to fill it with 5ozs at a time for safety and you can't drink more than 1oz every 5 seconds. The really cool coffee shops will let you fill it all the way, but you can only drink it while sitting in a fully supported position.
