guy needs to man up.
we've had these vehicles decimated by guys living in the stone age making ANFO explosives. these guys live in mud huts and caves--just imagine what the determined american populace could come up with if pushed far enough and with the resources available to them.
yes, people will die. yes, in the beginning it will be just another "homegrown terrorist" dead in the street, etc... but you can only shoot people dead in the street for so long before people notice and want to do something about it.

I think Jim misses one important variable that I firmly believe would make a difference.
A high number of our soldiers are conservatives. And if this situation occurred, which side would they have actually be on?
