    This guy should been sentenced for an extended tour in the state prison a long time ago, But it didn't happen. Remember the "Purpose of Bail" is ensure that the party will show up for trial. So far he has done that. Bail is not as or for punishment.

    They have to let him out before trial so he can steal enough stuff to pawn and pay his bail bondsman...

    So true! In my town (a long time ago) two teenagers were caught after breaking into ~20 houses. Released to parents on "personal recognizance". Before trial, they broke into another 6 houses (in at least one house they also vandalized by smearing shit all over the walls)! It was juvenile court, so I don't know the final resolution but do know they did NOT go to jail.
