I don't think you'll find anyone here to disagree with you, the guy is a major douche.
When he was running for governor, a guy in Quincy parked a van in view of the Expressway with a huge banner on it that read "Scott Harshbarger Is Evil". The van was there for a few months.

because everyone has "health" in some way.
Not everyone has guns.
This makes it a popular "populist" thing to do.
Now....let's say that the .gov wanted to give away guns....say the Korean M1s showed up, and it was decided that anyone that's shot a CMP match in the last 3 years was eligible to get one free .... who would say, "no"?
Unless you would refuse the M1, or insist that the .gov take a check for $600, then you should not be upset with people taking other "free" stuff from the .gov.
I know that there's a big difference in the cost of healthcare, compared to a surplus rifle, but I'm making a point. If you pull a trigger, you have to pull together.

Health care can't be a right. For the simple reason you can't compel somebody to provide you a service, at least in a free society. The US supposedly banned slavery with the ratification of the 13th Amendment.
The US is now a relatively free society compared to citizens of other countries.

Because the government can't give away guns. The government doesn't produce anything (except mounds of bullshit and bodies). The government has to take from somebody in order to redistribute it to somebody else, usually people from a politically less prominent caste to a more favorable caste. These M1s were designed, manufactured, stored, sold, and distributed by taxpayers.

In the beginning of this country the men were required to be armed, They were all part of the militia. When reporting to drill on the village green they were expected to show up with; Musket, powder and shot.
So those CMP rifles being given out would be exactly the same thing. If you take the time to look at the history and purpose of the DCM program now renamed CMP for the purpose of political correctness. Is to provide training and trained marksmen for our military.
So giving away those rifles would serve its intended purpose, also the assesment of $600.00 to those that do not want those rifles, to be a service fee to support those of us who are willing to protect them.
There is NO provision in The Constitution of The United States for health care.
SO SCREW ALL THOSE COMMIE BASTARDS!!!"Political correctness is a doctrine, fostered by a delusional, illogical minority, and rabidly promoted by an unscrupulous mainstream media, which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a turd by the clean end"

I don't see how anyone has the right to something that they have to take from someone else against their will.
If people decided that they didn't want to be doctors anymore, would the government force people to be doctors? I guess they would have to if they beleived that healthcare is a right.
