Niagra Falls
Heading there tomorrow morning for a few days away. Anyone have any ideas, tips, suggestions, or "can't miss" items. Restaurant suggestions are welcome too.

Go to Niagara-on-the-Lake. Bike from there along the Niagara River. We also enjoyed the tour of the hydroelectric power plant.

Go & stay @ Canadian side. For entertainment, the casino awesome. A short trip to Toronto is good if you have time.

If you're kinda into the nature and geology side of things like me...downstream from the falls on the US side are a couple of state parks that run for several miles. Before the power plant. You can just park in lots almost anywhere along the side of the Robert Moses Pkwy and find a trail that takes you through the woods and rock formations and down to the river. And it is moving, and a very unique blue-green fluorescent color. Similar stuff on Canadian side I believe, too.
Also, don't discard the US side entirely. There are some good up-close views on Goat Island (middle of the falls). Just not a view of full-height drops of the horseshoe part.
Oh and lastly you can walk up-falls on the Canadian side and see the original power plants that Nicoli Tesla developed...if that's your thing.

3 Sisters Islands on the American side, too... you can play in water that will very shortly be taking a fast trip!
If ye love wealth greater than liberty, the tranquillity of servitude greater than the animating contest for freedom, go home from us in peace. We seek not your counsel, nor your arms. Crouch down and lick the hand that feeds you; May your chains set lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that ye were our countrymen. ---Samuel Adams
