Thats how it seemed to me when I heard all the facts about the decision. So the judicial branch lets us down now too....just great (sarcasm)

This is why Obama needs to go. Supreme court justices like Roberts appointed by democrats are bad for us.

Sure, I've been called a xenophobe, but the truth is I'm not. I honestly just feel that America is the best country and all the other countries aren't as good. That used to be called 'patriotism'. " - Kenny Powers

Yeah. We'd be so much better off if we could get another Kagan.

Whatever. Everyone seems focused only on the result and how it relates to healthcare.

Meanwhile, conservatives got one of the best Commerce Clause and Federalism precendents in recent memory. Sure I would have liked to see Roberts side with Scalia, Thomas, Alito, and Kennedy, but the decision was certainly not all bad.
If you ask me, there's something hypocritical and tragic about so-called libertarians and free-thinkers demeaning others for "outing themselves." Those who do so criticize not simply the content of the differing opinion, but attempt use informal social control to curtail the very act of speaking.

The "out yourself" poster believes in free mindedness only insofar as others agree with them. All else should be silenced by the mob. Which in the end is no belief in free mindedness at all.

It is funny because it is true... W made JFK look like Ron Paul. He was a fine statist Democrat.

Relying on CBS News for insight into the Chief Justice's motivation is like going to the Taliban for suggestions on a good brand of bacon.

We also got one of the worst taxation precedents.
