The individual mandate survives as a tax.

Amy Howe: It's very complicated, so we're still figuring it out.
10:10
Kali: We are still here. Don't worry.

Tom: So the mandate is constitutional. Chief Justice Roberts joins the left of the Court.

Amy Howe: The Medicaid provision is limited but not invalidated.
10:13
Tom: The bottom line: the entire ACA is upheld, with the exception that the federal government's power to terminate states' Medicaid funds is narrowly read.
From scotus blogLaws that forbid the carrying of arms...disarm only those who are neither inclined nor determined to commit crimes.... Such laws make things worse for the assaulted and better for the assailants; they serve rather to encourage than to prevent homicides, for an unarmed man may be attacked with greater confidence than an armed man.” (Jefferson's "Commonplace Book," 1774-1776, quoting from On Crimes and Punishment, by criminologist Cesare Beccaria, 1764)

Drudge is saying it is upheld
Edit: Uphled 6-3, Edit- AP is saying 5-4
'Congress had the power to impose the exaction in Section 5000A under the taxing power, and that Section 5000A need not be read to do more than impose a tax. This is sufficient to sustain it. '
The court reinforces that individuals can simply refuse to pay the tax and not comply with the mandate.
Remember when Obamacare was not a tax?

Out of every one hundred men, ten shouldn't even be there, eighty are just targets, nine are the real fighters, and we are lucky to have them, for they make the battle. Ah, but the one, one is a warrior, and he will bring the others back."

CNN reports - the individual mandate got struck down..
Edit: Never mind - they just changed their breaking news :(When a good shooter with a poor gun meets a poor shooter with a good gun, the good shooter will have the good gun...
