Sorry bout the cat, your kids will be in my prayers. I don't slow down for small animals, that is the perfect formula for an auto collision. Keep you animals safe and inside the house. Our cat is not allowed outside, if it doesn't get hit by a car, it will get eaten by something bigger.

That sucks.
“Laws that forbid the carrying of arms . . . disarm only those who are neither inclined nor determined to commit crimes . . . Such laws make things worse for the assaulted and better for the assailants; they serve rather to encourage than to prevent homicides, for an unarmed man may be attacked with greater confidence than an armed man" -- Cesare Beccaria

So sorry to hear this, PSS.
I lost one of my cats about 20 years ago to a car... and ever since I've made the critters stay as indoor pets.
"When I see how few who talked so largely of death and honour are around me, and that those who are here are those whom it was least expected, I am lost in wonder and surprise. Your noisy Sons of Liberty are, I find, the very quietest in the field. An engagement or even the expectation of one gives a wonderful insight into character."

Sorry man. I can say I am glad now that the guy who hit my dog didn't stop because I may have had to put him down, if you know what I mean.
