I fell asleep. Did anyone record the last 40 laps?

Watched it all, but was kicking myself for not having a DVR. What was up with Fox @ the end going split screen during the cautions?

....AND then when the race resumed they went to Full Commercials instaed of their "side by side" commercials!
I would have lost serious money on the last caution happening if I betting man.
The last three restarts were text book as far as the lead car goes and it is a shame some didn't last more than two laps.

The flaming crash was a huge hit in the ratings!
Unplanned TV is often the best TV. No one was seriously hurt and the resulting video made for great television as anyone who switched over to Fox when they got bored with whatever they were watching saw only fire and confusion. Explosions are inherently sexy and tap into a deep part of our subconscious.
Preliminary overnight tv-watching reports show the ratings increased from 7.8 before the accident to 8.8 afterwards, giving Fox its highest rated Monday night since probably The World Series.

Matt Kenseth just made a cameo appearance on Jay Leno.
He told a few jokes about high gas prices during Jays monologue and then left.
It was kinda' lame, but nice to see he has a sense of humor.

Just saw something I've never seen before, Nascar is allowing a driver to redo a qualifying run.
Mike Bliss in the #19 car leaked oil on the track during his run.
Nobody noticed it until Kurt Busch in the #51 went out next and got into it, turning a bad lap.
Nascar stopped qualifying to clean the track, and put Kurt back in line to take another run at it.
