Default MyGunDB firearm inventory app is now OUT OF BETA!

[:D] Thanks to the huge feedback from you guys in the previous thread MyGunDB is now at a stable release point.

The thread got pretty big so this was is being started to make it easier to be up to date.. Though the app is at 1.0, there will still be a beta branch and i'll still need your help as I add new features.

As a quick heads up for those unfamiliar with my app, MyGunDB is a downloadable program that stores everything encrypted on your system, not online. It offers many features to help maintain your collection digitally by meeting ATF digital boundbook requirements.

You can read more at http://MyGunDB.com and/or visit the thread above/

    v1.0 is out!

Delete button for accessories picture works
Export to .CSV now handles fields with newline chars in it.
CR box on search page displays ‘No’ as default.

Well, the first problem there is that it isn't a ZIP file, so there is nothing to unzip ;)

Either use the installer badge on http://MyGunDB.com or if you do the manual download, right click and save it as a .air file and run that.

It seems some browsers are configured to treat .air files as a .zip for some reason and it will save it as a .zip. If yours did, rename it to .air and it should run fine when you execute it.

because my old code signing cert expired the migration file can't be installed over your current version -- you need to uninstall the version you have and then download http://MyIFSGunDB.com/ifs/IFS-MIGRATE.air and run that. It should then convert the old database for you.

Nice! Can't wait to try this out & hope there's an iPhone app to go with it later. I have an iPhone inventory app but it isn't as nice as it could be.
