    Default Good LE Magazine Recommendation

"Law Officer" http://www.lawofficermagazine.com/ seems to be a well-written magazine that should be interesting to most/all active LEOs.

Well worth the few minutes to request a Free subscription.

This magazine is affiliated with PoliceOne.com forums (some are restricted to verified LEOs, others are open to anyone) and POSA (Police Officer Safety Assn) which provides a fair amount of free training in the Northeast area.

Yes, I signed up a few months ago. Very nicely done magazine.

I've been a member of PoliceOne for a few years, they did verify my LE status and I've posted a few times in the private forums. I rarely go there just do to time constraints, but their forums are on a much higher level than that other place we both know about.

BTW, there is a good message in their editorial this month, which is posted on their website:

    http://www.lawofficermagazine.com/im...torsnote08.pdf

They call it right, but I'll go one further . . . Americans believe that "being observant" of something out of place is strictly a job for the police! We'd be a lot better off if regular citizens read and heeded this editorial and "became part of the solution" by calling LE attention to things that look out of place (as they do in Israel).

I just pulled my November/December issue out of the PO Box yesterday.

Did the rest of you just get your copy too, or was mine just "lost in space" somewhere for a couple of months? [It wasn't dog-eared or showing any evidence of mis-handling.]
