Has anyone been to the outdoor range lately? I plan on going there Friday morning and was wondering if there are any target stands up? Last time I went there weren't any stands up. Thanks guys

Since Scott made this statement in April, I highly doubt there will be any stands left.

I was there on Sunday and used the 50 yard lanes on the left as you pull in through the gate. There was a target stand that someone had built and left over to the side but it may not be there on Friday.

I bring my own portable set up ( Flip-In-Target) and a couple of resetting metal targets from Cabelas. Anything you leave behind may be trashed.....

I figured as much. I am going to make my own stand and bring it with me. Too bad everything gets destroyed

    Hello everyone,

My wife and I are waiting for our licenses to come in, and are looking for a gun club to join during the wait. Taunton looks like a great club and we really like the fact that the indoor range is 24 hrs. We also don't live that far from Taunton so another plus.

One question I have is the application form requests a sponsor, and we don't know anyone that is a member, is this something that will keep us from being able to join? How open is the acceptance to the club do they turn away a lot of people, or is it pretty open?

We both haven't been involved with the sport in a longtime she was in the National Guard and I grew up as kid shooting guns with my family all the time and we both are really excited about getting back involved with it.

Any info on the club or the enrollment process would be very helpful and appreciated.

    Thanks

I don't think it will be a problem. I know a few people that joined without sponsors.

Any chance you were there this past Sunday, July 1?

I think I shared the lane with you, farthest to the left.
