Nobody needs more than 7 rounds
All we need to do is look at the woman in GA that shot an intruder 5 times. The intruder ran away, got into his car and drive away. She fired 6 shots in total, hitting on 5 of them. Far better than most police officers do.
What is she was an average shot and only hit on one or two of those 6 shots? She and her baby would likely be dead.
What if there was a second intruder? Again, woman and baby dead.
So, I guess pols in NY and in this state believe that dead women and children are an acceptable loss to having a warm feeling that law-abiding citizens are only able to load 7 rounds into their guns, while criminals will load 30 rounds, because, yes criminals do NOT follow laws by definition.
