Default Interest in HK USP .45

I don't know if this will do any good or not but would anyone be interested in contacting H & K to add the USP .45 to the roster? I understand that it involves them spending extra money for testing but it might help if a number of people contact them showing interest. I sent them a lengthy letter this morning almost begging them to make it Mass compliant. Feel free to bash this thread if you think it's pointless or a bad idea but if anyone also has further insight on where to go from here please post!

Two easy steps to owning just about any gun your heart desires.

Step 1. Pack up all your shit.
    Step 2. Move to NH.

Why do people live in MA?

This or try to get it through a FTF sale

Yep. FTF is the best way to get what you want. There is a 99% chance you'll be paying a premium for it but it looks like that would be fine for you.

If HK is going to do it they'll do it, writing a letter is pointless, but go ahead if you want. It only took HK like THIRTEEN years to certify a handful of guns for compliance.

BTW you could have bought one already, somewhere, there is someone getting bored with a USP (anything). They are nice guns but they really only suit a handful of users, and for a lot of the rest of us, they don't do anything that can't be done by an M&P or a Glock 21 at like 65% of the cost. (With a far better trigger to boot, and cheaper magazines on both. )

For a multitude of reasons. If it was easy as just leaving, more people would. Don't oversimplify things with that kind of post

NOTE: When buying an item from me off this forum, always pay cash unless you are paying via mail, then we can discuss terms.

Thats true, but I think that it was about 50% of that post was serious.

    - Because my wife has a great job near Boston, and all of her clients (which she has spent 15+ years cultivating) are in the Boston area.
    - Because I've got a great job in Kendall Square at a biotech lab. In addition to the great people and interesting problem domain, I get 5 weeks vacation, 12 holidays, and 2 personal days per year. Also dollar per dollar 401k match to 6%, and they've kicked in an extra couple percent the last two years.
    - Because my current 45+ minute commute is already almost all I can stand.
    - Because we have a lot of friends here.

That post by Pickle man was pretty ignorant and I hope it was sarcastic. If I could be in NH tomorrow I would be but our lives are in this state and for how much we complain, we need this state and the family we have here. If it isn't a family issue, it is probably a job keeping a person in MA.
