Wife and I are officially at war!
So bought my wife the M&P Shield 40 yesterday for her birthday. Well instead of just being happy she had to run out and buy me the Springfield XDS today. This has turned into out right war! But I kind of like it. I know there's been so skeptics here about both so hoping to get the range soon and give my honest opinion of both.

Jane Smith: Baby, you couldn't find the button with both hands and a map.
Jane Smith: [after shooting through a wall at John] Still alive, baby?

Wife and I are officially at war!
I will definitely let you know, I'm quite curious myself as from what I've read its said to be surprisingly manageable for a 45. Just hope a extended mag comes out for more of a grip and another round or two. My only reason for wanting to wait a bit before getting it that I bet Springfield will release a model in 40 that will hold a few more rounds and be even more manageable.
Update: I see on the back of the paddle holster it says XDS 45, 40, and 9. Hmmm, looks like others may be in the works

Well just in case you have to get rid of that evil Shield to bring harmony back to your home. I'll take it off your hands, you know just to keep things in your home running smooth!!!
