Hi-cap mags shipped to MA...
So, I'm sure this has Bren addressed, but searching on the iPhone sucks...
I just won a GB auction for a couple of pre-ban 30-round AK mags. The seller won't ship, claims it's illegal to ship to MA. yes, I have a Class "A" unrestricted, so should be no problem. What's the story? Is there a law I can cite, or am I just SOL?Lee (In deference to the post decrying the anonymity of the Internet)

Sounds like the seller has a touch of the dummy.

I agree, the seller sucks for not stating that in the auction, but as far as I know it is not illegal for him to actually ship them to you here in MA, as I have bought many by mail. The class A LTC is not even something he should be concerned with as it is your responsibility to know what you can legally possess. Hopefully someone can cite some MGL or something so you can prove it to the seller, but the simple fact is that pre-bans are the only high caps we can legally buy, or own here in MA unless you are a LEO.

World is full of AK mags. Forget this idiot and move on. If he didn't specify his unwillingness to deal with MA residents in his listing (which by itself would've been fine, he can refuse to sell to anyone with blue eyes whose last name has more than 7 letters) and accepted your bid, now he's in violation of a binding agreement. Feel free to post a negative feedback or file a comlaint with GB if you want.

I wonder why he bothered to advertise that they were pre-ban, if he was not willing to ship to a place where they would be sought after.

WOAH! WOAH! WOAH! Seller isn't a dummy. He doesn't live here and doesn't have to live under the Draconian laws shoved up our ass. Why should he have to post that he won't ship to MA? Why should he be burdened with knowing the ****ed up laws here? Sorry he did nothing wrong. It's this shithole that is wrong.
