Shooting the S&W Shield
I know there is a thread with 17 pages full of "info", but there is also a ton of unrelated chatter in that thread so I wanted to add some fresh content.
Here is our review of the new M&P Shield. With over 500 rounds through the gun, we had zero malfunctions or failures. We ran it through a few different balance of speed and precision drills at 21 feet and we're very impressed with the results! Enjoy

Unfortunately while doing a video like that and while trying to compare different aspects of a 3 dimensional object to a viewer it is hard to not point the gun "somewhere". If I point it forward then its at you and the camera man, if I point it to the right its at my other instructor and to the left at a house...so is there really one direction more safe than the other? That is why there is no live ammunition present, all guns are declared safe before the video, and all actions start open so that you, the viewer, knows that we aren't playing with loaded guns. I appreciate the criticism and will try and be more aware of it in the future. Wasn't really thinking of such nit-picky things when I was just attempting to get the information on a very popular topic out to you folks.

It must be me or something, but if it has a safety and ya don't wanna use one, DON'T! real simple "fix" for that problem... just leave it off, shouldn't be such a big deal. a 1911 has a safety but you don't generally hear anyone bitchin' about that, what's the difference? It is what it is! end of story. Sorry if I seem a little "rude" but just can't believe how many folks crab about a safety that if ya don't like it, don't use it.
