Ruger SR 1911
I was on the list at Four Seasons and got the call. I picked up my new gun this week and after cleaning the factory gunk of it I went to the range. I put 100 flawless rounds through it and found nothing I didn't like about it. I have fired a few 1911's, but this is my first 1911 and now favorite gun

It's full 5" barrel length right?

im Just a fan of clean looking guns, I dislike two tones as well. You mentioned you were on the list, so does that mean theres a wait for one of these babies?

I've rented one of those at MFL and that gun is one of my favorite handguns I wish I had my LTC so I could own one. Hope you have some great times on the range with it.

I paid $699.99 minus 2% for cash. There was a backlog but it looks like Ruger is catching up;

very nice. i was on the list and got impatient so i bought a SW1911. i still like the rugers, maybe some day

ShadeWPI It's a full size government model series 70 clone. I think that's the only model they are making now but there are rumors other models will follow.
