Exotic 12 ga ammo
A couple of my co workers keep bringing this up and are always checking them out on the web. Any of you use any of this stuff? Things like the flechette shells, and things of that nature....available locally, or just mail order?

IIRC, EddieCoyle has loaded some of his own bolo rounds, and claims they do some interesting things down range.

I've talked to people about it ans they have all said the best is the dragons breath. They said shoot it in the winter so you have snow cover. I was told I had to get some. I still haven't though. The others are only going to put holes in paper that I can do with any ammo. Oh one guy was telling me the flechettes were "cool as hell"

If you have a press rolling you're own flechette rounds ain't too bad. They are fun but you need to know when you would use them.

I remember being very dissapointed when I got to try the rubber buckshot and slug rounds. They are only pushed by the primer. Most people think the shotgun malfunctioned the first time they shoot them. That being said, I think the wooden baton round would be silly fun.

Doesn't someone on here collect all the used primers from everyone's reloading to use to load their own shotgun shells?
