Public skeet shooting clubs in MA?
I'm looking for a place basically just to expend the case of 12 gauge AAs that I brought up from Maryland and can't shoot at MRA. Any suggestions? I live in Boston.

Most clubs that have skeet or trap are open to non-members on Sundays.
Skeet:
- Sharon F&G, 10 AM each Sunday. Casual atmosphere (at least it was >12 years ago when I was last there).
- Massapoag Sportsmen's Club (Sharon) - Registered matches and ONLY those that are fast, expert shots are seemingly welcome.
Check the GOAL website for clubs in your area and what they offer. The above are the only two around here that I am sure of.

Riverside trap and skeet are open to non-members, but they require you to use their non-lead ammo (due to environmental reasons).
Woburn Sportsman's has Trap and I believe they are open to non-members on Sunday morning. Check their web-site to be sure.

Independant in Foxboro has public Skeet on Sat. and Sunday 1-4.
Lots of fun, not terribly compentetive, but some great shooters in
the groups.

Haverhill Hound Rod and Gun (www.hhrg.com) has the skeet range open to the public on Wed. evenings and Sundays. I can't remember the times, but it should be listed on the web site.
"They say gun owners are compensating for something. They're right. I'm compensating because I'm smaller and weaker than violent criminals."
Don't make me release the flying monkeys!!

Why can't you shoot them at MRA? No lead shot allowed?

Nope.
Before moving to this state I had never heard of a place that didn't allow lead.
