Trigger Group... AK
Can someone please tell me what the difference between a single hook, and double hook trigger group is.
What part do I need to look at on my SAR-1 to see what one I need..
Thanks

You probably have a single hook. You can alter things to make a double hook fit.
Some folks claim that a double hook is better, but you'll find the RomAK 3 (Romanian Dragunov) is single hook, and they have awesome triggers.
I put a Single Hook in my WASR-10.
I looked for where I got the instruction to change them, but have come up short. It used to be on Surplusrifle.comAppleseed Chief Master Instructor

I ended up calling the company I am getting it from. He knew right away that the SAR-1 took the single hook... I was wondering what the difference was.
There are good instructions here.

BTW, I ordered all my parts from both distributors today... Hopefully I'll get them soon so I can build this puppy up!!

Yup, those are the instructions I was looking for.
I assume one of companies starts with a T? That's where I got my parts from, and have had good luck with them.
If that is the company, get the replacement for the "shepard's crook" that holds everything in. Makes assembly a lot easier.Appleseed Chief Master Instructor

I didn't buy it from Tapco, but I did get the G2 parts just from a different distributor. I did it that way, because he was the same price, and has flat rate shipping. So it was overall cheaper to get the 4 things from him and pay his $8 shipping for all 4.
