5-44 K-frame grip screws? Anyone?
For some reason, I can't find the correct grip screw for my Model 10. Can anyone tell me why they're so hard to source? Silly me, I figured a model manufactured in about 6 million units over a hundred years or so would have ample spare parts, but this stupid 5-44 screw seems to be nonexistent.
If anyone's got a source, or can sell me one, I'd appreciate it. I already tried the 5-44x1" version from Brownells, and it turned out to be just a TAD too short. I need about a 5-44x1 1/8".
Thanks in advance, I hope.

Bueller?
The alternative is to mill out the hole in the side of the grip without the escutheon nut until the shorter screws fit. The service grips I've got are beaters, so I'll try that this afternoon while I watch the snow come down.
