NFA & Change of Address

I called the BATFE this morning to inquire about what steps were needed for change of address notification for an in state move. I was told that they are now requesting that all changes of address submit a 5320.20.

Hmm, I thought you only had to do this if you changed your state of
residency or otherwise moved the firearm across state lines.

-MikeI was under the exact same impression; I actually called to confirm that and the correct mailing address but was informed that I should send the Form. BUT, after speaking with someone in the FFLC this AM about my C&R I am more convinced they aren't all on the same page.

My advice would be to call if you are moving, but I wanted to pass on what I was told.
