The Mass Firearms School augments our Basic Firearms Safety Courses by utilizing firearms simulation technology created by IES Interactive Training.

Utilizing a Glock 19 fitted with a special recoil action, the training includes marksmanship, judgmental shooting, shoot houses, and moving targets.

Visit our web site to view the promotional IES video: www.MassFirearmsSchool.com (http://www.MassFirearmsSchool.com)

We are located at 61 Nicholas Road in Framingham, MA.

Welcome to the forum!

The IES simulator looks exciting.

Is it the same one that S&W uses?

What classes do you have on the simulator?

Can civilians take those classes?

What is the cost and how many days are the classes?

What are the pre-reqs for the classes?

I am not sure what S&W uses. IES is one of the major providers of law enforcement and military simulation training.

Due to the overwhelming demand for Mass LTC, FID Certification we are only running those courses at the current time.

We are in the process of hiring additional staff to manage our more advanced classes. As soon as we get the new training programs up and running we will let you know.

I'm in Natick, and my GF needs to get her LTC, so I will direct her your way for the course.

We have a lot of female students. They are usually better shots than the men [smile]

In my experience, female students are far an away better shots then men as newbies probably 90% of the time. A few are scary good with minimal training.

Although I have completed numerous NRA courses in NH, the Commonwealth of Mass required a course by a certified instructor by the colonel of the Mass State Police. I went to Steve's course to fulfill that requirement and it was an interesting experience with the simulations for sure.

Two weeks later in the mail came my Mass Class A non res LTC with No restrictions.

Thanks Steve

Ha, all I had to do to get my LTC for non resident in NH is pay $20 and wait 3 months.... [grin] I'm looking for something for my wife, this might just be to far away for us.[sad2]
