WHAT the heck were those fish, and why where they jumping around like that??? Was it because of the lights?

And can anyone who speaks Spanish (I think it was Spanish...) tell me what the guy was saying?

It was Spanish, but too fast for me to follow. They're flying fish; whenever they sense danger they jump out of the water as an evasionary maneuver. I've seen smaller ones off the coast of southern California and around the Bahamas, but not in Mexico.

And that's what I call fishing. Just cruise around with a light and they fly into your boat.
