C & R Address change question

I couldn't find the answer to this. I mailed in the form notifying them of the new address on December 20th and haven't heard anything back.

My question is whether or not they send me a new FFL.

They send you another one with the new address, the exp. date and number is the same.

Mine came within 2 weeks.

I thought that your # would change too. I thought the # signified where you live-I'll find out soon enough myself, I moved recently and sent in my change of address..

Mine didn't change.

Of course I did move within the same town/county. So I could be wrong.

One of the dealers I use had told me that some of the #'s determine what "zone" you are in? I'm not sure either, like I said, I moved too, to another town though. I'll keep you posted...

I recieved my new C&R license due to an address change. I moved to a different town and county and the FFL # did change. Just thought i would keep you guys informed...
