http://www.pgnh.org/
Pro-Gun New Hampshire is a statewide organization of private citizens, legislators, and other public officials pledged to support and defend Second Amendment and sportsmen's rights within the state of New Hampshire.
Len why did you post this, did i miss something????? or is this just info..
jimb
Jim,
It will become a sub-forum when Derek gets to it (Mods can't create forums), just like the other state groups.
Just like the others, it is here for info . . . and yes I am aware that there are 3 different NH groups out there.
All the state groups deserve a spot here and it is up to those running the org (or other kind-hearted folks with valid info) to post updates, events, etc..

Thanks for the reminder Len, just sent my $5 to join.
Well, I guess Derek forgot and these never became sub-forums after all.
I strongly suggest that folks consider joining Pro-Gun NH at a whooping $5.00 for Charter Membership! My Wife and I just did so . . . shoulda done it a year ago when I met with Sam.
Sam Cohen and a number of former BOD/Officers of GO-NH split off and formed this newer org with the sole intent of championing gun rights. Sam is the "go to person" who got the NH State Police to change their "policy" on not issuing NH Permits to those with crippled home-state permits previously. He's now working on the same issue again! <sigh> [I should have an update on that from him when I expect to see him at the Concord gun show on 9/1/07.]
Read what's going on up in NH at their website. www.pgnh.org

Although I'm sure Sam Cohen is doing yeoman's work on the out-of-state licenses, and you can never have too many voices fighting the good fight, it is worth noting that SB44, the worst piece of anti-gun legislation to hit the NH legislature in years, was co-sponsored by a member of the Pro-Gun New Hampshire's Council of Advisors. In fairness, the bill badly mutated from the original intent (so much so that the aforementioned co-sponsor actually testified against the bill in its final form), but the original intent of the bill was arguably anti-gun as well. It would have removed the sanction from Chiefs of Police who demonstrably (i.e. as adjudicated by a court of law) wrongly denied a Pistol and Revolver License to an applicant. That much would have been OK with the co-sponsor(!) So Pro-Gun New Hampshire, the newest gun rights organization in the state, was put in the interesting position of having one of it's Council of Advisors testifying against anti-gun legislation of which he was listed as a co-sponsor.
